Many studies, as well as our practice, have exposed that when we work towards women empowerment, the whole society welfares. But inappropriately in India, far from being authorized, most women are deprived of even their basic rights like health, education, employment and a decent status in society.

India has a dangerously imbalanced sex ratio, the chief reason being extensive female infanticide and sex-selective abortions.

The statistics are always terrifying when it comes to the number of instances of sexual or physical violence against women in India at any given hour, day or year. Angel foundation is an NGO in Jaipur work towards helping women combat this constant threat of violence, and work towards making our country safer for women by conducting awareness campaigns that aim to educate the public. Leads usually cover one or more of the following objectives.

• Liberationof women and children from unsafe or violent environments and socialize them at a safe temporary or permanent shelter.
• Make availablehelpless women with financial support or vocational training and help them become financially and socially independent.
• Provideassistance to help victims of sexual or physical violence understand her rights and pledge the judicial process to reach justice.
